Liability for contents

The contents of our site have been compiled with great care. Nevertheless we accept no responsibility for the actuality, correctness, completeness or quality of the information provided. Acceptance of liability against the publisher or individual editors for material or ideological damages caused by usage or non-usage of the information offered, or through the use of faulty or incomplete information, is categorically excluded provided that no intentional or gross negligence is verifiable. All offers are without commitment and unbinding. We expressly reserve the right to amend, to add, to delete or to suspend, temporarily or permanently, some or all of the pages without particular notice. As service providers we are responsible, according to § 7 para. 1 of the German Act for Telemedia Services (TMG), in accordance with the common law in Germany, for the contents which we provide on this site. According to §§ 8 to 10 of the TMG we are not compelled, as service providers, to monitor or, according to circumstances, to investigate communicated or stored information from external sources which could be construed as unlawful activity. Liabilities for the removal, or barring, of the usage of information, in accordance with common law, remain unaffected. The commensurate level of responsibility is, however, applicable from the time that knowledge of a concrete breach of the law has occurred. We will promptly remove infringing contents of which we have been made aware.

Liability for links

Our product contains links to external third-party websites over which we have no influence. We cannot therefore accept any liability for their contents. The respective owner or provider is responsible, at all times, for the contents of the linked pages. An obligation of liability will solely take effect for direct or indirect references to external websites (so-called "hyperlinks") which lie beyond the area of responsibility of the publisher and editorial staff, where knowledge of their contents exists and where it would be technically possible and reasonable to prevent their use if their contents could be construed to be unlawful. In this respect we herewith expressly declare that, at the time of link establishment, no illegal contents were discernable on the interlinked pages. We have no influence over the current or future configuration, content or authorship of the interlinked/related sites. We therefore herewith declare that we explicitly distance ourselves from all contents of the interlinked/related sites which have altered since the insertion of their links. This declaration is valid for all links and references inserted within our product and also for entries from external sources, as applicable, in visitors’ books, discussion forums, link libraries and mailing lists. The author is not responsible for any contents linked or referred to from his pages and the provider of the linked content alone is exclusively responsible for all illegal, faulty or incomplete content and in particular for damages which arise from the usage or non-usage of such information offered.

Copyright

The contents and publications created by us on this site are subject to German copyrights. Third party contributions are regularly verified for authentification. The copying, editing, circulation and all forms of application beyond the limits of copyright are not permitted without the written agreement of the authors, or respectively, originators. Downloads and copies from this site are allowed for private and non-commercial use only. The owners of these pages continuously strive to observe the copyrights of others and to make use of self-compiled and licence-free articles. The publishers and producers are committed to observing the copyright, in all publications, of graphics, audio documents, video sequences and texts used and to make use of self-compiled or licence-free graphics, audio documents, video sequences and texts. All trademarks and brand names, including third party-protected items, within this website are unreservedly liable to the regulations of the respective valid trademark laws and to the property rights of the respective owners. Assumptions may not be made, based simply on named entries, that trademarks are not protected by third parties! The copyright of objects published by their respective editors remain solely with the authors of the pages. The copying or use of such graphics, audio documents, video sequences and texts to other electronic or printed publication is not permitted without explicit consent. Biblical quotations used on this website are taken from the 1984 edition of the Luther Bible, revised in the new orthographical form of 1999. The copyright of the Luther Bible is assigned to the council of the Evangelical Church in Germany, represented by the Deutschen Bibelgesellschaft (German Bible society) in Stuttgart.

Data protection

Insofar as personal-related data (for example name, contact or e-mail address) is stored on our pages, it is placed there, as far as possible, on an explicitly voluntary basis. The offers and services provided may be accessed, wherever possible, without the provision of personal details. Exceptions to this are the forms which are available to make orders of publications, goods or services.

Communication per e-mail

We advise that the transmission of data in internet (e.g. through communication of e-mail) can present security weaknesses. It is not possible to guarantee complete protection of data from access by third parties. E-mails can be delayed and viewed on the way to their named contact addresses by experienced internet users. Should we receive an e-mail from you (e.g. via the contact form) we will assume that we are authorised to reply by e-mail. We ask you, otherwise, to consider another form of communication (e.g. by post).
